The Traveling Tapestry was created during the Covid Pandemic as a community project to connect people in this physically restrictive period. Relaunched in 2024, the tapestry travels from space to space, whereby each contributor adds their story using a variety of fiber art mediums reflecting their current mindset – whatever they are feeling, seeing or experiencing.

To date, 150 individuals—ranging from participants as young as 8 years old to artists and artisans—have contributed, and the project continues to grow. It has traveled far, with pieces added from the UK, USA, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Chile.

The tapestry is open to anyone who would like to participate.  Please get in touch to arrange a community session or host the tapestry yourself.
