Create with me: Sharing Experiences

When I’m not in the studio creating, I’m sharing my knowledge and skills — hoping to inspire someone else’s creative journey.
Through a range of hands-on experiences, I guide others in exploring textile art and discovering their own artistic voice. My wish is that you find joy and confidence in creating your art.
Below, you’ll find some of the studio sessions I offer. I also offer short residencies for artists looking for space and inspiration. To book a session or learn what’s coming up, feel free to get in touch.

Inspired by the clinking cups, rich scents and lively conversations that made up the tapestry of our childhoods, the Subhiyeh (‘Morning Coffee’) collection stitches together past and present scenes from Jordanian coffee culture.

As a textile collage, every scene is created using reclaimed fabrics from the clothes, curtains and tablecloths of individuals from our society. Each piece must have witnessed subhiyat of their own, and those stories are woven into the collection.

Subhiyeh was born out of curiosity and playful experimentation between textile artist, Shereen Quttaineh, and figurative painter, Nour Taher. Together, they merged elements from their individual styles to create this collaborative body of works.
